Share from Photos into WorkRoll albums. Add and search captions, choose album covers, and sort photos and videos by capture date or date added.

WorkRoll stores site visits, receipts, whiteboards and project records in local iPhone albums, separate from your personal Photos library. No account is required. Switch between App Albums and System Albums pages on the home screen.
Choose a destination before taking a photo or recording a video: Photos, a system album or an in-app album. Import existing photos and videos, or choose WorkRoll in the Photos share sheet to add them directly to an in-app album. Enter the album password when sharing to a locked album.
Add captions to photos and videos, search captions within an album, and read them in the media viewer. Long-press an item to set an album cover. Sort by capture date or date added, newest or oldest first.
Play videos in the app, save media back to Photos, and share selected items or an entire album. Export to Files saves photos and videos as a folder, with text sidecar files for captions. Use the system Files picker to choose configured Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or NAS locations.
Set album passwords and retention periods. Expired items are removed when the app opens or returns to the foreground. Face ID app lock and a background privacy cover add access protection. Album passwords restrict access within the app; they are not forensic-grade encryption. Forgotten passwords cannot be recovered. Different passwords open separate media groups.
Free: unlimited albums, up to 30 photo or video items and one password per album, and the default app icon. Captions, covers, sorting, expiry, sharing, export and app lock are included.
WorkRoll Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase with no subscription. Unlock unlimited photo and video items per album, multiple album passwords and alternate app icons. Apple Family Sharing is supported. Your App Store shows the applicable local price.
In-app media does not sync to iCloud Photos and is excluded from device backups by default. In Settings, the free Include in iPhone iCloud Backup option includes media in the device's iCloud backup, not iCloud Photos. Media saved to the system library follows your iCloud settings.
Important: with backup off, media stays only on this iPhone and is lost if the phone is lost or the app is deleted. Export important media or save it to Photos first. Simply reinstalling the app or restoring purchases does not restore media. Deleting originals after import requires iOS confirmation and moves them to Recently Deleted; deletion also syncs when iCloud Photos is enabled.
Apple processes payments. RevenueCat manages anonymous purchase records. WorkRoll does not upload your photos or videos to our servers.
