Each sample is a quiet puzzle on a small grid of earthen columns. Step, shovel and lever the slabs until every column shows the layers the museum asks for. ONE VERB, DEEP CONSEQUENCES • Shovel the top slab of the ground you stand on onto a neighbouring column. • Heavy slabs always sink to the bottom; light slabs always rise to the top. • Stand on empty ground and shovel toward a tall column — the layer that gets thrown is you.
