Over 900 loads and 160 rifles with twist rate, weather and GPS automatic, corrections in clicks. No account, no ads, no tracking. Feldballistik is a lean ballistic calculator for hunting, made for the quick, safe shot in the field, not for gimmicks. On launch the app automatically fetches: • your GPS position and altitude above sea level • the current weather for your location (pressure, temperature, humidity, wind) from Open-Meteo • the shooting direction from the compass You enter only two things: distance and slope angle. The app immediately shows you: • ELEVATION, how many clicks up or down • WINDAGE, how many clicks left or right (wind and spin drift combined) • plus time of flight, remaining velocity, impact energy and Mach Calculation core: • G1 or G7 drag model (McCoy/JBM), selectable per profile • humid air density, latitude- and altitude-dependent gravity • slope angle by the improved Rifleman's Rule • Miller stability and Litz spin drift for the lateral offset • Coriolis and Eötvös effect on by default, can be switched off in Advanced mode The core is checked against the published Sierra and Sax tables; the remaining velocity agrees to within a few metres per second. This checks the calculation core, not the agreement with your rifle. Profiles and catalogue: • wizard for your first profile: rifle, load, scope, zeroing; any number of profiles • searchable catalogue: over 900 loads and bullets with the manufacturers' own figures (Norma, Hornady, Sellier & Bellot, RWS, Geco, Blaser, Barnes, Sako, ATS, Lutz Möller, the complete Hasler range) and over 160 rifles with twist rate (Blaser R93/R8/K95, Merkel, Sauer, Tikka T3/T3x, Sako 85/90/100/S20, Schmidt-Rubin K31, standard twist per calibre) • every preset names its source; the values are starting points • zeroing with the terrain angle of the range, because few ranges are level • for best accuracy: fire one check shot at distance and true BC or V0 in the profile Advanced mode (Settings): • enter wind, station pressure, temperature and humidity from your Kestrel by hand • truing: enter a check shot from 200 m, the app calculates BC or V0 • fine corrections switchable one by one, correction also in mrad and MOA, DOPE table up to 1000 m Backup and catalogue updates (optional): • backup of your profiles to a folder of your choice, e.g. in iCloud Drive, without an account; after a reinstall the app can restore the backup • daily comparison with the online catalogue (can be switched off): new loads and rifles without an app update • report missing ammunition or rifles directly from the app Frugal with data: no account, no ads, no tracking. All profiles and settings stay on the device. The catalogue comparison sends only the app version and a one-time signature, no profiles and no location, and can be switched off. Without reception the app keeps calculating with the last loaded or manually entered values. Also in the app: metric or imperial units (yards, fps, inches, mph), a shot log with every hold and the weather of the moment (included in the backup), and a warning when the energy at the target falls below your minimum. Note: the app is an aid. The responsibility for every shot lies with the shooter.

New in 1.6.0: now also in Spanish, Portuguese, Ukrainian, Turkish and Dutch. Switch between metric and imperial units (yards, fps, inches). Shot log with backup. A warning when the energy at the target falls below your minimum (default 2000 J, adjustable). G7 BC for 29 Hornady loads. The ammunition list now shows only loads and bullets that fit the rifle's caliber.
