Penname finds private details — names, organisations, emails, phone numbers, addresses, gift amounts, dates, IDs and fund codes — and replaces each one with a realistic stand-in. You review every replacement, copy the safe version into your AI assistant, then restore the real details in one step. HOW IT PROTECTS YOU - Everything runs on your device. No server, no analytics, no network access. - The key file that reverses the replacement is AES-256 encrypted with your own passphrase and never leaves your device. - A private, encrypted Activity log records what you protected and restored — metadata only, never the values — and you can erase or export it anytime. - A safety check tells you which document a key file belongs to.
