Learn Chinese from short videos: watch, tap a word, keep it.
KanChinese teaches Mandarin through short video scenes with subtitles line by line. Tap any word to hear it, see its pinyin and meaning, and save it. The words you save come back for review before you forget them. It is made for beginners and for anyone preparing for HSK 1, HSK 2 or HSK 3.
Short videos of everyday Chinese
Ordering food, asking the way, meeting a new colleague. Pause on any line, replay it until you can say it, or slow it down. The translation sits under each Chinese sentence, and one tap hides it when you want to try on your own.

HSK courses, one lesson at a time
HSK 1, HSK 2 and HSK 3 video courses. Each lesson is a short scene: watch the dialogue, meet the new words, learn one grammar point, then practise. The words follow the official HSK lists. New lessons arrive in the app as they are made.
Words with pictures and sound
Every new word comes with a picture and its sound. Listen, choose and match until the word is yours. HSK 1 to HSK 6 word books are included.
Reviews at the right time
Spaced repetition built from the words you saved. A word you keep missing comes back sooner; a word you know goes quiet. A few minutes a day is enough.
Games
Word Stack: tap three of the same tile to clear them, and hear each word as you tap. Chinese Town: serve customers in shops and restaurants, and every word you meet goes into your word book.

The app speaks your language
English, Vietnamese, Portuguese, French, Spanish and Chinese. Word meanings, grammar notes and video subtitles follow the language you choose.
Free and Pro
HSK 1, the short videos, the dictionary, stroke order and reviews of your own words are free, and no account is needed to start. KanChinese Pro opens every course after HSK 1, the HSK 2 to HSK 6 and topic word books, all stories and all games. Choose monthly or yearly; the yearly plan starts with a free week.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. Sign in with Apple, Google or a username when you want your progress kept across phones.
