One turn is one day, filled in with real sunrise and sunset — a 24-hour dial for the biggest screen in the house. KRONOS 24h is a 24-hour dial for the biggest screen in the house. One full rotation is one full day: midnight at the bottom, noon at the top. A glance across the room tells you where you stand in the day, not just in the hour. The dial is filled in with real daylight. KRONOS 24h works out sunrise and sunset for where you are and paints daylight as the bright region, night as the dark one. The seam between them drifts through the year. Far north or far south, where the sun no longer sets or no longer rises, the dial simply turns to all day or all night. FIVE COLOUR SCHEMES Mies — white day, black night, one red marker. The original face. Corbu — warm amber day, slate blue night, red cardinal badges. Sigvaldi — yellow day, deep blue night, white marks throughout. G.Pesce — red day, blue night, yellow badges. The rim and the seam leave strict geometry, the way poured resin never quite closes on a circle. Árni Kím — amber day, indigo night. Every mark takes the opposite of the half it sits on. Press the clickpad to choose. Each row in the list is painted in its own scheme, so you pick by looking rather than by reading. BUILT TO BE LEFT ON The dial holds the screen awake, so it can sit there as the clock for the room. Nothing else happens while it is open — no feeds, no adverts, no noise. If the TV has no location to offer, the dial takes its position from the time zone instead, so the day/night arc still follows the season rather than sitting flat. Sunrise and sunset are worked out on the device. Nothing is sent anywhere.
