What you expect and what actually happens can be different. Hindsight gives you a quiet place to notice that difference.
Before an event, write down what is coming up, how you feel about it, and what you expect afterward. When it has happened, return for a short reflection. See your Before and After side by side, with your own notes in your own words.
MAKE ROOM FOR REAL EXPERIENCE
• Add everyday plans, from a conversation to a new task or time alone.
• Choose a category, an anticipation level, and an expected outcome.
• Reflect on how it went, with an optional energy rating and note.
• Come back later or mark a plan as cancelled. There are no streaks or penalties.
SEE YOUR JOURNAL OVER TIME
• Find events in a searchable timeline and filter by category or status.
• Edit, duplicate, or delete entries whenever you need to.
• View simple counts, outcome summaries, and patterns based only on your saved reflections.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
• No account, cloud sync, advertising, analytics, or AI service.
• Journal entries stay on your iPhone.
• Optional local reminders appear only if you enable them.
• Export a JSON backup to a destination you choose, or import one you saved.
• Delete all events and reflections from Settings.
Hindsight works offline and is available in English and Russian, with light and dark appearance.
Your journal is excluded from automatic device backups. Deleting the app removes its local journal. If you want a backup, export one deliberately. Exported JSON includes your notes and is not encrypted; keep it somewhere you trust.
