Give every player on your team a walk-up song, and play it at the perfect moment.
Slugger is a free walk-up music app for youth baseball and softball. Search Apple Music for each player's song, trim it to the best part, and play it from the dugout with one tap. No account to make: just create your team and start.
BUILT FOR GAME DAY
• At bat and on deck: your team's page follows the batting order, so one tap plays the next batter.
• Works without a signal: your lineup is saved on your device, and downloaded songs play even where the field has no service.
• Last-minute changes: drag players to change the batting order and bench anyone who can't make it, right at the field.
• Lock Screen controls: see who's up and play the next batter without unlocking.
• Made for iPad too: hold it sideways for a scoreboard beside your lineup, and edit players and their songs side by side.
SOUNDS GREAT THROUGH THE SPEAKER
• Clip editor: listen along, drag to any part of the song, and set the start and end, so each song plays the chorus or the drop.
• Smooth fades: songs fade in and out instead of cutting off.
• Announcements: add "Now batting, number 7…" in your own recorded voice or a built-in voice, over the song or before it.
• Pitching songs: give players a second song for taking the mound.

• Share with other parents and coaches with a link, as viewers who play walk-ups or editors who help set them up.

WHAT YOU NEED
• An iPhone with iOS 26 or later, or an iPad with iPadOS 26 or later.
• An Apple Music subscription. Get All Songs puts the team's songs in one playlist, so one Download in the Music app gets them all for the field.
Slugger is Apple Music only, on purpose, so it can do one thing really well.

Slugger now runs on iPad:
• Hold it sideways for a scoreboard with who's at bat and on deck, beside your lineup.
• Edit your lineup and each player's song side by side.
• Switch teams from the sidebar.
Also in this version:
• If Apple Music won't start a song, Slugger tries again, and tells you plainly if it still can't.
• A fix for a freeze when choosing an announcement voice.
