Black Tuner is a quiet, precise tuner for guitar, bass and ukulele — free, with no ads, no subscriptions and no tracking. Pluck a string: it finds which one, shows how far off it is, and turns green when it's in tune.
• Finds the string by itself, or lock one with a tap
• Built-in tunings for 6- and 7-string guitar, ukulele and 4-, 5- and 6-string bass: Standard, Drop D, DADGAD, Open G, Open D, Eb Standard, Drop C, Russian 7-string and more
• Your own tunings for any stringed instrument — a mandolin, a lyre, a harp: as many strings as it has, each set to its note and, if you like, to the cent
• Capo: set the fret and tune with it on, where it pulls the strings sharp
• Holds steady in a noisy room: a voice or a TV close in pitch doesn't drag the reading off the string
• Reads 12th-fret harmonics; lock a string and fret the 12th to check intonation
• Adjustable A4 (430–450 Hz) and in-tune tolerance (±1, ±3 or ±5 cents)
• iPhone and iPad, works offline
• The sound never leaves your device.
