Haze, heat & rain for parents
Free · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
See Singapore's official air readings at a glance, then find family-friendly places to play, indoors or out. Get an alert when the haze gets worse.
Is it safe to take the kids out today? Hazy answers in seconds.
Hazy turns Singapore's official air readings into clear, plain-language advice for family plans, and helps you find somewhere good to go when the air isn't.
AIR RIGHT NOW
• Latest 1-hour PM2.5 and 24-hour PSI for your region, straight from the National Environment Agency (NEA)
• A colour-coded gauge with the official band: Normal, Elevated, High or Very High
• Simple guidance for outdoor outings with children and for indoor air at home
• 24-hour PM2.5 and PSI trend charts, so you can see whether the air is improving or getting worse
• Clear "updated" times, and a warning when a reading is out of date
FAMILY PLAY
• 56 hand-picked indoor and outdoor places for kids across Singapore: indoor playgrounds, libraries, museums, gardens, water play areas, nature playgrounds and more
• See at a glance if a venue is open now, suggested ages and what it costs
• Photos, Google ratings and recent Google reviews for venues with a Google Maps listing
• One tap for directions, the venue's website, a phone call or sharing with family
• Filter by indoor or outdoor, region, age group and cost, and save your favourites
• When the air is Normal, outdoor spots come first. When it isn't, indoor spots do.
AIR ALERTS AND WIDGETS
• Turn on alerts for your region and get a notification when air quality gets worse, and again when it recovers. Choose your threshold and quiet hours.
• Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and an Apple Watch app, show the air at a glance
YOUR LANGUAGE
• English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account is needed. You can create an optional account to keep your settings and favourites on all your devices.
• Location is optional. If you allow it, Hazy works out your region on your phone and only the broad region is used. You can also just search for your town.
IMPORTANT
Hazy shows published guidance from public sources and is not medical advice. Readings describe a region and can differ from conditions on your street. Opening hours, ages and prices come from venue operators and may change, so check with the venue before you go. Hazy is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NEA or any venue. Air data is provided by NEA via data.gov.sg.
