Start from the camera maker's official restore LUTs, grade in layers the way professional colorists do, choose a film look, and export HDR or SDR video or Live Photos. When you want a second pair of eyes, the AI colorist measures your frame and grades step by step with you.
RESTORE WITH THE OFFICIAL LUTS
• Natural uses Apple's and DJI's own Log-to-Rec.709 LUTs, matched to your camera model
• Supports Apple Log, Apple Log 2, DJI D-Log M, D-Log and D-Log2, plus HLG and regular video
• Formats are recognized automatically from file tags and DJI metadata
GRADE IN LAYERS, UNDER THE LOOK
• Primary: exposure, white balance in Kelvin, contrast, highlights and shadows, Lift / Gamma / Gain wheels and curves. On Log footage they work in stops, in linear light, before the look
• Secondary: Color Range qualifiers for skin, sky and foliage, HSL, and automatic subject / background masks
• Texture: grain, halation, vignette, sharpening and noise reduction
FILM LOOKS
• Official looks designed for Log footage, applied in one tap with adjustable strength
• Import your own .cube LUTs, or save any grade as a look
AI GRADE
• Describe a feel or attach a reference image
• The AI reads the scopes first (luma, clipping, skin tones, white balance), then grades in steps you can follow in the chat
• When the direction is open, it asks, with a live preview of each option on your frame
• It only uses the app's own tools, so every change is a slider you can undo or fine-tune
• Your frame and messages are sent to a third-party AI provider only when you use AI Grade, after you agree. Provider details, processing locations and retention periods are in the Privacy Policy
EXPORT
• HEVC 10-bit in SDR Rec.709 or HDR HLG; the HDR version follows your SDR grade
• Live Photos with an HDR still
• Trim, crop and rotate; choose resolution, frame rate and quality
• Original shooting metadata is kept
FREE AND PRO
Restoring, primary grading, official looks and export are free. Develop Log Pro unlocks secondary grading, texture, LUT import, saving looks and AI Grade with a weekly allowance. Max has the same tools with 20 times the weekly AI allowance. AI Top-Ups add allowance that never expires.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
