Folder is one folder in Finder, in the Files app and on the web. Drag a file in and it is on every device, and every change you make is kept.
- In Finder: Folder sits under Locations in the sidebar. Files open in the apps you already use and download when you open them.
- Drop a file, get a link: drop it on the window or the menu bar icon, and its link is on your clipboard.
- Every version kept: every overwrite and every delete stays restorable, from the app or the web.
- On the web: open every file at folder.dev, from any browser.
- Share with a link: a folder in your own Cloudflare shares a file with a link, a password or an expiry.
- Your storage, or ours: start on Folder with 5 GB free and nothing to set up, or connect your Cloudflare account and your files stay in your own R2 buckets. Folder is never in the data path for those.

- The file window's toolbar has Show in Finder, Open on the Web, Copy Link, Share… and History… for the selected row.
- Settings has Show In: Dock, Menu Bar, or Dock and Menu Bar.
- The share sheet fits all of its rows, and its Folder row is a field you can change for this drop or save as your default.
- A folder on Folder keeps its live connection open, so changes made elsewhere reach this Mac within seconds.
