Everyone gets the same secret word… except one player, whose word is slightly different. Talk it over without saying your word, then point at the one you think is the wolf.
Duo Word Wolf is made for foldable iPhones: open it like a book to peek at your word, close it to hide it and pass it on. One phone is all your group needs.
- Open to peek, close to pass
The outer screen calls the next player by name. Open it close to your chest and only you see your word. Close it and the word hides while the outer screen calls the next player. There are no buttons to press, so no one sees a word by accident.
- Fair dealing
Every player sees their word in turn, and a quick peek of under a second doesn't count. Players who were the wolf recently are less likely to be picked again, and you won't get the same pair twice until a deck runs out.
- Talk timer with backup questions
A timer sized to your group (you can change it). Stuck? Set it down closed and the outer screen suggests a question that works for any word, like "Where do you see it?"
- Point together, or vote in secret
Everyone points at once on "Go!". Ties get a 30-second defense each and one revote. If pointing feels awkward, switch to a secret ballot: each player opens, picks, and closes to seal their vote.
- Wolf's last chance
If the wolf is caught, they can still win by guessing the citizens' word.
- The reveal
Open together and both words appear on the two pages: the citizens' word on one side, the wolf's word on the other.
- 417 word pairs in 11 decks
Classics, Food, Home, Places, Holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving and more), Friends & Family, Work, School, Kids, Drinks and Advanced. Pairs are written for English speakers, not translated. "Kids" uses simple words; "Drinks" includes alcohol and is off by default.

On an iPhone that doesn't fold, press and hold to peek at your word, and let go to hide it.

Player names and game records stay on this device. No account is needed.

Free. Ads appear only on the home screen and after a game ends, never during play. A one-time "Remove Ads" purchase removes them.
