Run your whole restaurant from the Mac at your counter. Platevio is a free restaurant point of sale (POS) for cafes, bars and restaurants: ring up the order at the counter, and a second later it is on the kitchen screen and the kitchen printer. No terminal to buy, nothing to set up but your menu.
TAKE ORDERS AT THE COUNTER
Your Mac becomes the till, and your servers' phones become order pads at the table. Click a dish, add its extras and a note for the cook, and the order is in. Dine-in, takeout and delivery orders sit in one list. For a sit-down meal, hold the entrees as their own course and fire them the moment the appetizers are cleared.
THE KITCHEN HAS IT IN A SECOND
Orders land on the kitchen display the instant they are sent, with every extra and note on them. Cooks mark each dish cooked, servers mark it served, and either one can take it back when a plate comes back. No paper tickets lost, no shouting across the pass.
PRINTS TO THE PRINTERS YOU ALREADY HAVE
Platevio prints customer receipts and kitchen tickets to Epson and other ESC/POS thermal printers, connected to your Mac over USB or Bluetooth, or on your network over WiFi or Ethernet. Give each printer its own menu categories, so drinks print at the bar and food prints in the kitchen. Pick the paper width, preview the layout, and your first ticket comes out right.
MENU AND TABLES
Build your menu from categories, dishes and priced extras: oat milk, an extra shot, no onions. Change it mid-shift. Add a dish, move a price or mark one unavailable when the kitchen runs out, and every device has it a second later. Draw your floor as a table map with rooms, from the dining room to the patio, and see at a glance which tables are cooking, ready to serve or paid.
YOUR MENU ONLINE
Give your restaurant its own website, such as bistro.platevio.com, with your location, your phone number and your whole menu, prices and dish photos included. Share the link with customers and on social media, and search engines can find it. It shows your live menu, so a price you change in Platevio changes on the website too.
PAYMENTS AND SPLIT CHECKS
Take payment at the counter or at the table. Split the check by clicking the lines each customer is paying for, and record every payment as cash, card or a method you name yourself. Platevio records the payment and leaves the money to you: it works alongside the cash register you already have, and you keep your card terminal and your bank.
EVERYONE SEES THEIR OWN JOB
Invite your staff by email and give each person a role: owner, administrator, manager, server, cook, bartender, cashier or delivery driver. Each one sees exactly the part of the shift that is theirs, and a change of role reaches their device instantly. Anyone can request to delete their account from Settings, right in the app.
SALES REPORTS
See what you sold today, this week or this month, how it was paid and what is still unpaid, with the orders behind every number. Only owners and administrators see the books.
