An immortal snail has 14 days to reach you, crawling toward wherever you really are. You get one life. Terry has all the time in the world. Terry is a snail. Terry is polite, patient and immortal, and Terry is coming for you. The moment you start, Terry appears 4 km (2.5 miles) away and begins to crawl toward you. Not toward a pin on a map: toward you, wherever you really are. At snail speed, that's 14 days if you stay put. If Terry reaches you, you die. You get one life, and one snail, forever. HOW IT WORKS • Terry crawls about 12 meters (40 feet) an hour, day and night, toward the last place your phone saw you. • Move, and Terry turns to follow. Every walk buys you time. • Leave town for three days and Terry hitches a ride: a lettuce van, a train or a plane. Terry lands at least 14 days from wherever you are. • Warnings arrive as Terry closes in: 1 km, 500 m, 200 m, 100 m. • Salt stops Terry for an hour. Watch a short ad for a salt, as often as you like, one at a time. A SNAIL WITH MANNERS Terry keeps in touch. "Morning. 2.3 km to go. No rush. I'll find you." "100 m. Nice curtains." "Found you. It was nice knowing you." EVERYONE VERSUS THEIR TERRY See the longest survivors still going, and the hall of fame of everyone Terry has caught. Share your snail with friends, and share your certificate when your time comes. FAIR, PRIVATE AND EASY ON YOUR BATTERY • DeathSnail only checks in when you move, so it barely touches your battery. • The rules run on our server, so nobody outruns Terry by cheating. • Nobody else ever sees where you are, and your GPS location is never passed to advertisers. GOOD TO KNOW • For ages 13 and up. • "Always" location lets Terry follow you while the app is closed. "While Using" works too: Terry then assumes you're wherever you last opened the app. • Free to play, with a banner you can remove with a one-time purchase. Salt ads stay. No rush. Terry will find you.
