Each news card comes with one positive idiom and one negative idiom. Tap the card to flip it and see the same story in two tones, and get a feel for how idioms change the mood of a sentence.
IDIOM DETAILS
Open any idiom to see its meaning, example sentences and pronunciation, with readings that refer to the Ministry of Education dictionaries in Taiwan. Tap to hear it read aloud, and adjust the speed and voice.
QUIZZES AND CROSSWORDS
- News quiz: questions are built from the day's stories, so you can check what stuck.
- Idiom crossword: every board is randomly generated.
- Wrong-answer book and review: missed questions are saved so you can come back to them.
PET PARK
Wander through a small 3D park, where cats, dogs and figures from ancient China greet you with idioms. This part works offline.
LEADERBOARD, FAVORITES AND NOTES
Sign in to join the leaderboard and compare how many idioms you learn each day. Save the idioms you like, add notes, and sync across devices when you are signed in.
STUDENT MODE AND PERSONALIZING
Student mode hides sensitive news, shows positive idioms only, and limits ads to general-audience content. Choose dark mode or one of several color themes. The interface is available in Traditional Chinese, English, Korean and Japanese.
NO SIGN-IN REQUIRED
Browsing news, idiom details, quizzes and crosswords all work without an account. Sign in with Google or Apple only when you want sync or the leaderboard. The account is shared with our Findmo app.
ABOUT THE CONTENT
News summaries, idiom matches and examples are generated by AI. Readings and meanings refer to the Ministry of Education dictionaries. Negative idioms describe events, never individuals. If something looks wrong, you can report it right on the card.
