The Gaslight: Air Hockey

2 Player Game on One Screen

Expected Oct 23, 2026 · Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

A table for two on one screen: open iPhone Duo on its side, or lay any iPhone flat between you. Late night in Greenwich Village, 1971. Summer, 1971. The last set at The Gaslight is over, nobody's leaving, and there's an air hockey table in the back. The Gaslight is air hockey for two people at one screen, or for one against the house. No accounts, no ads, nothing to set up: pick a table on the chalkboard and play. First to five. TWO AT THE TABLE • iPhone Duo: open it on its side and the fold becomes the center line, one of you at each end. • iPhone: lay it flat between you, a mallet under each finger. • iPad: turn it on its side for the big table. Each end keeps its own score, turned to face its player, and the screen holds still mid-match, so a bump won't flip the table. ONE AGAINST THE HOUSE Easy, Normal or Hard. Some nights the house is half asleep; some nights it's had its coffee. On a closed iPhone Duo, play the house on the outer screen. THE ROOM On your first visit, a short painted film takes you down the stairs, past the last song of the night, to the table in the back. Wall lamps, a chalkboard menu, a late-night jazz trio and the clack of the puck on the rails. The music and the table's sounds each have their own switch. NOTHING LEAVES THE ROOM No accounts, no ads, no tracking and no network. The game keeps a few settings on your device and nowhere else.
