Peakline puts all of Hong Kong on your iPhone in 3D. Every hill, street and harbour is drawn from the Government's own survey data. Open your GPX and the trail lies on the hills it climbs, then turn it into a flight over Hong Kong.
THE MAP
• A clean, stylized 3D model of the whole territory: buildings, flyovers, terrain, roads and their markings
• From Lantau's peaks to Sai Kung's coast: Yau Tsim Mong comes with the app, and the detailed map of all Hong Kong, about 2 GB, is downloaded once over Wi-Fi and then works without a connection
• The real sun and shadows for any moment, with haze by the season
• After sunset, windows light up one by one, street lights glow along the roads, and thousands of stars and five planets come out where they really are
• Your place on the map and the way you face, used only on your iPhone
TRAILS
• Open any GPX file — from your watch, a race or a friend's WhatsApp — by sharing it to Peakline
• The elevation and climb along the way, and what's underfoot: asphalt, steps, dirt
• Add a race's checkpoints on the elevation, rename them, and take them with the GPX when you export it
VIDEO
• Turn your trail into a flyover in a few taps: the camera follows you up every ridge while your distance and climb count up
• At dawn, at golden hour or under the stars
