RECORD FIVE SECONDS
Capture a short, silent video with the front or back camera. Go square or widescreen, then write a message right over your postcard.
MAKE THEIR LOCK SCREEN
Your postcard plays in a Live Activity. Friends can reply with a moment of their own. Browse older postcards and keep a favourite showing.
SEND TO SOMEONE NEW
Share a postcard link with someone who doesn’t have the full app. They can sign in with Apple in the App Clip, see your postcard on their lock screen and send one reply. Get the full app to keep exchanging moments.
FIND YOUR LOOK
Start with Standard, Mono, Cinema and Vintage. Unlock the remaining effects when someone new accepts your postcard link and sends a reply through the App Clip.
KEEP YOUR PEOPLE CLOSE
Invite a friend with a link or QR code, then choose who receives each postcard. No public feed. No address-book access. Just your people.
SAVE THE LITTLE THINGS
Browse sent and received postcards in Gallery. Replay the original video, favourite a moment and check delivery details. Failed sends stay saved so you can retry.
KEEP A WAY BACK
Connect Sign in with Apple to recover your account and keep your username, friends and postcards. Guest access is also available in the full app, but a username alone cannot recover a guest account.
Live Activities must be enabled on the receiving iPhone. Delivery depends on connectivity and iOS. Postcards are silent. App Clip availability depends on a compatible device and supported link.

Choose friends more easily with a full-screen composer and private Circles. Five camera looks are free, with more to unlock as new friends accept your links. Try new looks including 8-bit and Fractal.

Portrait postcards are now 4:3. This update also improves rotation and sending, shows progress while your invite link is made, prepares lock-screen quality before sending, adds optional saving of originals to Photos and resend for your own postcards, and makes the App Clip smoother after you reply.
I also figured out how to make the app's download and storage 3x smaller.
