Cratebird

Make a playlist out of that.

$1.99

Tell your agent what you want to hear. Create an Apple Music playlist or add to a favorite. One Cratebird purchase includes Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Start with an idea. End with a playlist. Cratebird gives your AI agent tools to work with your Apple Music library on Mac. Describe a mood, an occasion, or a few songs you love. Explore your playlists, find recordings, and create something worth playing. MAKE IT YOURS Ask for music for a late-night walk, a dinner that turns into a dance party, or a deep dive into an artist’s influences. Review your agent’s selections and approve the playlist when you are ready. CONNECT ONCE Connect Apple Music, enable agent access, and add Cratebird to an agent that supports local MCP servers. Connection settings are available for Codex and other agents that accept a local stdio MCP configuration. Keep Cratebird running while your agent uses it. Cratebird does not include a chat model or AI service; your chosen agent’s account and fees are separate. SEARCH, CREATE, VERIFY Cratebird provides catalog search, recording matching, library playlist reads, playlist creation, and guarded appends. It saves write history locally so interrupted requests can be checked before another attempt. Your connected agent receives the playlist details needed for the requests you make. Approval controls are managed in that agent. ALSO IMPORT A WEB PAGE Paste a webpage address or supply a song list in Import a Web Page. Cratebird finds song titles and artists locally, then suggests Apple Music recordings. Review source excerpts and accept song matches or choose recordings individually before creating. Supported playlist pages can provide structured track metadata; other pages use local song-list recognition. Some layouts require supplied text. Missing and uncertain songs are shown in an import report. Cratebird matches catalog recordings rather than transferring audio files. CRATEBIRD’S TOOLS, YOUR MUSIC SUBSCRIPTION One purchase includes Cratebird for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Your app purchase is for Cratebird’s playlist preparation, review, local agent, and recovery tools. Cratebird does not sell Apple Music access, include a music subscription, or provide music playback or downloads. An active Apple Music subscription from Apple and Sync Library are required for library playlist creation. There is no Cratebird account or subscription. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Cratebird has no developer-operated backend, advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party SDKs. Settings and write history stay on your Mac. Apple Music, Spotify when used, and your separately configured agent handle the requests you choose to make under their own policies. The developer does not receive your music activity. REQUIREMENTS macOS 14 or later. An active Apple Music subscription and Sync Library. For conversational playlist creation, a separately configured agent that supports local stdio MCP tools. Catalog availability varies by region; matching does not guarantee every recording will be found. Cratebird is an independent app and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Apple or Spotify. Apple, Apple Music, Mac, and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions.
