Brief-ly reads German mail for you: official notices, invoices, reminders, contracts, insurance and bank letters, mail from school or daycare. Scan the letter with your camera and within seconds you know who is writing, what they want and what to do next – in English, German, Ukrainian, Arabic, Turkish, Albanian, Italian, French or Dutch.

WHAT BRIEF-LY DOES
• Finds deadlines: payment and objection deadlines are detected automatically, with reminders 3 days before, 1 day before and on the day.
• Folders that fill themselves: tax, health insurance, housing, insurance, work – and new folders when a letter fits nowhere.
• Ask back: “Do I have to reply?” – ask the app follow-up questions about any letter.
• Search: find any letter by sender, reference number, amount or a keyword in your language.
• Tick off: letters you have dealt with leave the list of open mail.
• Face ID: your mail stays locked.
• Letters from companies: companies that use Brief-ly send their letters straight into the app – encrypted, explained automatically and with deadlines in your calendar. One QR code is all it takes. No ads, no newsletters.
YOUR LETTERS STAY YOURS
Everything stays on your iPhone. To understand a letter, the scan is sent once to an AI service, not stored there and not used for training. No account, no ads, no data sales.
PRICING
3 letters a month are free. You can try Brief-ly Unlimited free for 7 days; after that it costs €3.99 per month or €25.99 per year. Included: unlimited letters, profiles for partner, children and company, and iCloud backup so everything is back after switching iPhones. The subscription renews automatically and can be cancelled anytime in your iPhone Settings.
Brief-ly helps you understand, but it can make mistakes. Please still read the letter yourself – and if anything stays unclear, an interpreter or an advice centre will be glad to help. The app is not legal or tax advice.
