Surprise Photos

Googly eyes, ghosts & glitches

Free · In‑App Purchases

Halloween is here. Hide a ghost that appears in Long Exposure, give everyone pumpkin heads (or vampire fangs), or set up a jump scare. A Premium effect is free each day. Choose a photo, pick an effect, and Surprise Photos saves a Live Photo to your library. Press and hold it in Photos and the effect plays: the picture pixelates into place, shatters and snaps back together, or your friend's jaw starts flapping like a ventriloquist's dummy. Over 30 effects. Classic effects operate on the whole photo with pixels, noise, glitches, a vortex or comic book dots. Face effects find everyone in the photo and give each person googly eyes, heart eyes, a red clown nose, Deal With It sunglasses or a bobblehead, and group effects swap their faces around. Moves adds jazz hands. For Halloween there are ghosts floating around your photo, glowing eyes, pumpkin heads, vampire fangs and even a jump scare. Preview every effect the different ways you can set them in Photos: Live, Loop, Bounce, or Long Exposure. Share the Live Photo from Photos, or share a video from the app for folks who can't view Live Photos. Surprise Photos never asks to see your photo library. You choose a photo with Apple's photo picker, and the app can only add the new Live Photo. Three effects are always free. Every day a different premium effect is also free. You can preview every effect, and always share a video of any of them (which includes a watermark attribution). Surprise Photos Pro lets you create Live Photos from every effect. Available monthly, yearly (with a free week trial), or as a one-time purchase. Live Photos is a trademark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions.
