Nowshot
Photo journals & memories
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Capture moments, revisit them by date, and make something worth sharing.
Nowshot — Everyday photos. A life worth looking back on.
Capture a moment, find it again by date, and turn it into something to share. One photo at a time, make an album of your life.
A built-in camera and adjustable filters. See something you love? Open Nowshot and capture it.
Browse your photo calendar by date, or use On This Day to revisit the same day in years past.
Featured albums bring together trips and everyday life. Open one and step back into that time.
Postcards, film strips, photo receipts, photo booth collages… Choose a style, edit the text, then save or share.
Revisit your stops and photos by place. Remember where you were, as well as when.
Choose location or weather reminders, set their frequency and quiet hours, and pause whenever you like.
Visit reminders first learn your usual stops, with an observation period of at least 7 days by default. Delivery also depends on permissions, frequency, quiet hours and iOS background scheduling. A visit will not always trigger a reminder.
No account is required, and Nowshot has no photo-upload server. Captures are saved to Apple Photos; photo syncing follows your iCloud Photos settings. The app keeps local records, previews and any media needed for unfinished drafts or edits.
Camera, photo library, location and notification permissions are requested when a feature needs them. You can skip permissions and change reminders at any time.
Nowshot membership
Random browsing · Unlimited photos
On this day · Every year in focus
No subscription. No daily photo requirement.
Membership rules
Capture and save a photo or Live Photo in Nowshot for 7 consecutive days. Day 7 unlocks membership for that day.
Afterwards, each day’s photo unlocks that day. Missing a whole day restarts the challenge. Multiple photos count as one day; deleting photos doesn’t undo progress. Videos, imports and share exports don’t count.
Days use the timezone of your first challenge capture, even while travelling. Challenge records stay on this device and aren’t restored after reinstalling or changing devices. Correct your device time if it is inaccurate.
Free access includes a fixed set of 10 random photos each day and the most recent year with On This Day photos. Capture, saving and ordinary library browsing remain free.
Lifetime membership is a one-time purchase at the store’s displayed price. Restore using the original Apple Account.
A little of your day. Right on your wrist.
Glance at your trip, revisit a memory, or give reminders a rest. Nowshot is designed for the moments between picking up your phone. Watch App: watchOS 27 with a compatible paired iPhone. The iPhone app continues to support iOS 17 and later.
