Chef plans your whole week of meals in seconds: lunchboxes for the working week, cooked in one batch session, and quick dinners that take 30 minutes or less. It also tells you what you'll pay at the till, with your supermarket's prices and in whole packs, just like on the receipt. HOW IT WORKS • Tell us how many you cook for, which days, your budget, your diet, your allergies and what's in your kitchen. • Chef picks the dishes, spreads lunchboxes and dinners across the week and rounds your shop up to whole packs. • You see the till total before you shop, with the date of the prices. WHAT YOU GET • A weekly menu of lunchboxes and dinners that fits your budget. • A shopping list by aisle, with the exact pack and its price. Tick things off as you shop. • Your batch cook day: what to cook in which order and how to split the lunchboxes. • Swap any dish and see how the total changes. • Use your pantry: what you already have stays off the list, and leftovers that keep carry over to next week. • 152 home-cooked recipes with photos, difficulty, times, servings and how to store and reheat each lunchbox. Ingredients come with photos you can tick off. • A "no scales" mode with spoons and glasses instead of grams, and a "No alcohol" option. • Optional reminders: menu ready, batch day and lunchboxes to move from the freezer to the fridge. • Available in English, Spanish and Norwegian. CHEF PREMIUM Chef Premium is required to use Chef. After a short setup you choose a plan: • Chef Premium Annual: billed once a year. • Chef Premium Weekly: billed every week. The App Store shows the price in your local currency before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage and cancel it in Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Already subscribed? Tap Restore on the plan screen. PRICES AND SUPERMARKETS Chef uses real, dated prices from supermarkets' own published prices where we have them, and clearly marked estimates where a chain doesn't publish its prices. Supported supermarkets today include Mercadona, Dia, Ahorramas, Lidl, Aldi, Carrefour, Alcampo, Consum, Eroski, Meny, Spar, Joker, Oda, Kiwi, Rema 1000 and Coop Extra, with more on the way. Prices can change in store, and items sold by weight can vary a little. Chef is not affiliated with any chain; their names are used only to say where the prices come from. Some price data comes from OpenCesta open data (ODbL licence). ALLERGIES Chef leaves out recipes that contain the allergens you tick, based on their ingredients. Always check the label if you have allergies. Chef does not give medical or nutrition advice. NO ACCOUNT No sign-up: your answers, menu and list are stored on your phone, and you can erase them in Settings > Delete my data. No ads and no tracking. Anonymous usage data is only sent if you allow it, and you can switch it off in Settings. Dish and ingredient photos are AI-generated illustrations made for Chef.
