The trail starts at three cracked vents and winds down a dark hillside to a harbour of cold furnaces. Every bend of it is a chart: a slice of rock where lava must reach the glassblowers' kilns and miss their cottages. Drag across soft tuff to cut a rill, tap open ground to set a basalt dam, flip sluice gates, then pour and watch the melt go exactly where your cuts allow. Cooling pools harden it into obsidian walls, pumice softens and gives way, and chasms swallow any spill.
Solve a chart and its cairn lights up. Do it with no more tools than the guild needed and its glass seal is pressed beside the cairn too. When a slope has you stuck, a sketch from the hamlets along the trail sets down one of the guild's own tools, and the rest of the rill is still yours to find.
