Paddock Race는 위에서 내려다보는 4.3 km 2.5D 코스에서 열한 팀, 스물두 대의 차가 겨루는 레이싱 팀 매니저 게임입니다. 직접 운전하지는 않습니다. 어떤 타이어로 출발할지, 몇 바퀴째 피트에 들어올지, 언제 공격하고 언제 지킬지를 정하는 감독이 됩니다.
■ 경기 중에 내리는 판단
소프트·미디엄·하드 슬릭과 인터미디엇·웻 타이어, 랩마다 바뀌는 비 예보, 배터리를 쓰는 ERS 네 가지 모드와 DRS. 사고가 나면 세이프티카가 나오고, 그때 피트에 들어가느냐로 순위가 갈립니다. 피트 크루 열네 명이 바퀴를 바꾸는 몇 초까지 화면에 그대로 보입니다.
■ 시즌과 팀 운영
3월부터 10월까지 8라운드 챔피언십입니다. 상위권 팀으로 왕좌를 지킬지, 하위권 팀을 맡아 끌어올릴지 고르세요. 상금과 후원금으로 파워 유닛·공기역학·섀시·신뢰성을 개발하고, 피트 크루를 훈련시키고, 자유 계약 드라이버를 영입하세요. 드라이버마다 능력과 주행 성향이 다릅니다.
■ 스폰서와 예산
스폰서는 경기마다 후원금을 주고, 목표(포인트·순위·완주)를 채우면 보너스를 더 줍니다. 연봉과 크루 급여를 내고 남은 돈으로 다음 개발을 고릅니다. 시즌이 끝나면 팀 순위에 따른 상금을 받고 다음 시즌이 열립니다.
■ 시작하기 전에
· 가로 화면 전용 게임입니다.
· 계정 없이 오프라인으로 즐길 수 있고, 진행 기록은 기기에만 저장됩니다.
· 팀·드라이버·코스·스폰서는 모두 가상의 이름입니다.
