Guess what's inside the box from five hints. Play at one table, on separate phones, or send a challenge. Two packs are free to play.
Guess what's inside.
A box is sealed and one real thing is hiding in it, like a key, a lion, a pizza or a telescope. Hints come one at a time, vague first and clearer each time. The sooner you guess, the more you score: 5 points on hint 1, down to 1 point on hint 5.
Boxdini is quick to learn and made to play with friends.
Five ways to play
One phone, one table
Put the phone in the middle of the table. Everyone says answers out loud and shouts "Lid off!" when they are sure. With 3 or more players, one player is the judge and taps Right or Wrong, and the job passes on. For 2 to 8 players. No internet needed.
Everyone on their own phone
One player starts a room and shares a 4-letter code. Up to 8 players join on their own phones, near or far. Everyone sees the same hint at the same moment and types an answer before the timer runs out.
Practice with two robots
Not ready for friends yet? Play a room with two robot players. It needs no one else and no internet.
Send a challenge
Play 5, 10 or 15 boxes, then send a 6-character code to your friends. They play the same boxes whenever they like in the next 7 days. When they finish, everyone's scores appear on one board.
Daily Box
One new box every day, the same for everyone. Keep your days in a row and share a result that gives nothing away. No internet needed.
Six packs of boxes
Everyday Things and Animals have 100 boxes each and are free to play. Food & Sweets, Travel, Games & Party and Tech & Science have 60 boxes each and are one-time purchases, and you can also buy all four together. There is no subscription. The Random Deck mixes boxes from every pack: watch one short optional video to play one game, or play it free if you own every pack.
Good to know
• Ads only if you choose: one short optional video to play the Random Deck. Nothing interrupts a game.
• No account and no sign-up. In online games you play under a made-up nickname, not your real name.
• Notifications are off until you say yes.
• Counting how the game is used is off until you say yes. It never includes names or answers.
• Made for players aged 13 and over.
• In English.

Your progress is saved to your own iCloud on iPhone, so a reinstall or a new iPhone starts where you stopped. The free packs Everyday Things and Animals now have 100 boxes each. The new Random Deck mixes boxes from every pack: watch one short optional video to play one game. The four ways to play have clear labels now: Solo, Group and Challenge friends. The Send the code button stays on your challenge until you finish your own boxes. Small fixes.
