Letter Rip: word search puzzle

Swipe letters, burst words

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

New: a fresh Daily board drops every morning at 9 AM Eastern, and Letter Rip can ping you the moment it's up. Same board for everyone. How high can you score? Letter Rip is a word-search puzzle with the pop of a match-3. Drag across touching letters to spell a word, let go, and the tiles burst, the board falls and fresh letters drop in. Long words and big scores set off louder banners, shakes, confetti and a rising note on every tile you touch. THREE WAYS TO PLAY ENDLESS: a board that never ends. Clear words as long as you like, with a hint if you get stuck and a free shuffle when no words are left. TIMED: two minutes on the clock. Words of 6+ letters add time, and the last ten seconds turn the whole screen red. DAILY: one board a day, the same for everyone, with no new letters. Find the best set of words you can, then see if you spotted the best word of all. One scored run a day, then practice as much as you like, and share your result. BONUS TILES Make a 5-letter word and the last tile turns into a ×2 tile. Make a 6-letter word for ×3. Make a 7-letter word and it becomes a wild that stands for any letter, so TH* spells both THANK and THINK and scores them all. Dash tiles join two words, and join them into one for a COMPOUND bonus. SWIPE ANY WAY Words run in any of eight directions, bend around corners, and back up with a drag. Qu is one tile. Over 168,000 words count. FEEL IT Haptic taps on every tile and a bigger buzz for every great word. Sound and haptics each have an off switch. PLAY ANYWHERE Start playing right away, no sign-in. Sign in with Apple or Google to keep your best scores and stats on all your devices. Playing works offline too. Letter Rip is free to play with ads. A one-time in-app purchase, Remove Ads, removes them for good, and Restore Purchases brings it back on a new device.

Ratings & Reviews

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

• The Daily now drops at 9 AM Eastern every morning, the same board for everyone. • Daily reminders: finish a Daily and tap Notify me to get a ping when the next one is up. Turn it off anytime in iPhone Settings. • A cleaner title screen: the full logo shows on every iPhone, and the menu fits without scrolling.
