SIRI EXPRESSIVE VOICE Paste text or import a text file, then prepare narration with an expressive Siri voice through Apple Shortcuts. Save the audio to listen again without generating it each time. PLAYBACK THAT FITS YOUR PACE Pause and resume, change playback speed, jump back or forward 10 seconds, and set a sleep timer. Tap a word to listen from there. Spoken words are highlighted, and the page moves forward when you reach the bottom. Continue listening with Lock Screen controls. YOUR READING LIBRARY Search your readings, mark favorites, and pick up where you left off. Start with the included short story, The Quiet Hours, or add your own text. IMPORT AND SHARE Import M4A, MP3, WAV, or AIFF audio and create an English transcript on your device when local speech recognition is available. Export a recording as M4A, or share a .naturalreading file containing its audio, text, and word highlighting. Shared readings play on iOS 18 or later without setting up a voice or generating speech again. ALL FEATURES ARE FREE No account is required. Optional one-time tips support the app and do not unlock any features. There are no subscriptions or ads. DEVICE REQUIREMENTS Creating new Siri narration in this app requires iOS 27 or later, Apple Shortcuts, a compatible expressive Siri voice, and on-device English speech support. Voice availability depends on your device, language, region, and Apple's services. Setup guides you through installing and checking the shortcut. On iOS 18 or later, you can play saved or shared readings. Transcribing an imported recording requires an available on-device English speech model. A shared .naturalreading file already includes the text and timing, so playback does not require a speech model. Your library stays in the app's storage on your device. The app does not upload your library to a developer server or include developer analytics. Siri narration uses Apple Shortcuts; Apple services have their own privacy practices.
