MeteoPaint brings the world's weather, oceans, hurricanes and earthquakes together in animated maps designed for iPhone.
• Live satellite: simple view (light and fast), detailed clouds with relief, infrared and true color, with GOES, Himawari and Meteosat imagery.
• Animated wind and pressure from the GFS, ECMWF, AIFS and ICON models, at several altitudes.
• Rain, feels-like and air temperature, humidity, snow, waves, airborne dust, sea temperature, El Niño and wildfires.
• Hurricanes, typhoons and cyclones worldwide with track, cone, intensity and an animation with several cameras.
• Official weather warnings for your country and up to 3 more countries you choose, each with the icon of its hazard.
• Recent earthquakes with magnitude and depth, global and detailed faults, fault analysis and wave animation.
• Timeline to move back and forth smoothly; switching layers keeps the date you were looking at.
• Detailed forecast by tapping anywhere on the map.
• Notifications with their own sound for each hazard, plus a widget with your weather.
• Your choice of units: km/h and °C or mph and °F.
• Battery saver: the app eases its work when the iPhone warms up or you are not touching it.
• 3D flight simulator to explore real weather with different aircraft.
Availability and forecast range of each layer depend on its official source and the selected model.
Free version with ads, a 5-day forecast and safety alerts (tornadoes, severe official warnings and earthquakes) for everyone. MeteoPaint Premium (monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription) removes ads and unlocks the full available forecast, faster alerts and almost all simulator aircraft.
