Tchokky (Cokki) is West Africa's great strategy game, played for generations in the sand, under the baobab tree. Two players, 12 pawns each, a 5 × 5 board: easy to learn, hard to master.
HOW TO PLAY
- Place your pawns one by one on strategic squares.
- Move them one square, or jump over an opponent's pawn to capture it.
- Each capture lets you remove a bonus pawn.
- Win by capturing all your opponent's pawns… or by blocking them.
- Aim for a Soumo (take everything without losing a pawn) or an Oudi (block your opponent) for a stunning victory.
THREE WAYS TO PLAY
- ONLINE: face players from around the world in real time, in quick or ranked games. Create a private game and send the code to a friend.
- TWO PLAYERS: on the same phone, taking turns, face to face.
- VS COMPUTER: four levels, from Apprentice to Legend.
