GreekLang is a Modern Greek course for Russian speakers aged 16 and over. All explanations, exercises and the interface are in Russian. You can start from zero: level A0 begins with the letters α and β, and by its end you can read any Greek word. LESSONS • Three levels: A0 "Alphabet and reading", A1 "First conversations", A2 "More freedom". 24 modules, 96 units, over 1,300 lessons. • 10–16-minute lessons: usually 2–3 new words or phrases and plenty of practice. Each unit ends with a review and a test. • Everything has audio. Stress is marked, Cyrillic transcription can be switched on, phrases can be played slowly. • Grammar explained in Russian: tables, examples with audio, common mistakes. • Exercises: choosing a translation, building a phrase, typing, listening, dictation, matching pairs, reading aloud with speech recognition. • Clear feedback: mistakes word by word, stress hints, the phrase translation and the meaning of a wrong word you typed. You see when a word comes back for review. • A correct translation the course didn't expect can be accepted; subscribers can ask AI to double-check it. Faulty task? Report it from the lesson. • Unit tests, module and level exams; the A1 and A2 exams follow the KEG (ΚΕΓ) format. A placement test (about 10 minutes) finds the unit to start from. TRAINING Practise what's hard without changing your route: words and rules by topic, verb and noun forms, numbers, letters, listening, dictation, translation, reading aloud, writing reviewed by AI. "Weak spots" finds the topics with the most mistakes; "Mix it up" combines different tasks in one short session. REFERENCE Search every course word in Greek, in Russian or by any form, with a built-in Greek keyboard. Word cards show forms, course examples with audio, slow playback and where the word appeared. Rules link to the lesson that introduced them. Topics and word sets can be played in a row, saved and practised. MY WORDS Bookmark words and build your own word lists. Add words that aren't in the course too: they get audio and come back for review. Subscribers can have them checked by AI. REVIEW Words and rules come back just when you start to forget them. Your plan for the day builds itself: a new lesson, review, working on mistakes. FOR LIFE IN CYPRUS AND GREECE Standard Modern Greek, with "In Cyprus" notes where things differ. A2 has a "Life in Cyprus" module (documents, repairs, holidays) and a "Towards the KEG A2 exam" module covering all four parts of the exam, with letters checked by AI. The exam itself is taken at an official centre; the GreekLang certificate is not a state certificate. YOUR OWN PACE You set a daily goal in minutes; training counts towards it too. Reminders stay silent once today's goal is done. No points, lives or leagues: a mistake is a reason to review, not a penalty. The Route shows your path, Progress shows word memory and milestones, and you can share your successes. ONE ACCOUNT Sign in with email, Apple or Google. Your account and progress are shared with the greeklang.org website. Light and dark themes. You can delete your account in your profile. ACCESS AND SUBSCRIPTION Free with no time limit: level A0 with its tests and exam, word review, A0 words and rules in the reference, your own words and lists. No card needed. A1 and A2, training and AI checks come with a monthly or yearly subscription. There is no free trial: free A0 takes its place. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel at any time in your Apple ID settings; access stays until the end of the paid period. If your subscription ends, your progress is kept and the course returns to level A0 until you renew.
