Meadow plays slow ambient music that grows and changes by itself. Soft chords drift underneath. Bells ring in long loops that never quite line up, so the music keeps moving without repeating. A low drone, a quiet pulse and a gentle texture sit around them. Each piece is drawn as a small garden. Every stem is a loop of bells, and its bud glows when a bell sounds. There are six pieces: Harbour, Low Cloud, Glasshouse, Night Ferry, Salt Marsh and First Light. Swipe across the garden to move between them. Meadow works on iPhone and iPad, upright or sideways. Hold keeps a chord ringing for as long as you like. Next moves to a new one. Regrow gives the bells new patterns. If you want to shape the sound, Controls lets you change each layer, the tone, the pulse, the echo and reverb, and the notes of the scale. Each piece keeps its own settings. Meadow keeps playing when your phone is locked, so you can use it while you read, work or sleep. Meadow is free. It has no ads, no accounts and no tracking.
