Fair Share splits expenses between friends: tonight's dinner, a week-long trip, a shared flat for a year. Write who paid and how to split it: the group balance updates at once and tells you, from your point of view, who owes whom how much, with the fewest money transfers. FOUR WAYS TO SPLIT • Equally, leaving someone out if you like • By shares or percentages • By item: each item of the bill to whoever had it, shared items split between everyone • By exact amounts, with a check that the total adds up • Paid by one or more people: 60 € me and 40 € Marco • The pennies always add up: 100 € between three is 33.33 + 33.33 + 33.34, and the app says who pays the extra cent THE BILL, ITEM BY ITEM • Write the items of the bill and tap each one to say who had it • Items with nobody are split between everyone, or just between the people you pick • Tip and discounts split in proportion to what each person had BALANCE AND MESSAGES • The fewest transfers: two or three instead of ten crossed payments • Mark who has already paid, until the group is settled • People from your phone's contacts, or typed in • A text or a WhatsApp already written for each person, with what they owe: the app opens Messages or WhatsApp with the text ready and you send it QUICK BILL • For tonight's dinner, without creating a group: it closes by itself once you're settled FAIR SHARE PRO One purchase, no subscription: • The summary image of an expense or of the whole group, to send to your friends • Unlimited active groups, instead of one at a time • Different currencies in the same group, with the exchange rate you write yourself • Closed groups, to look back at whenever you like: they're already on your phone • Export every expense and every payment of a group to CSV • Back up your groups, to keep or to move to a new phone The free version includes all four ways to split, people from your contacts, ready-written messages, the balance with the fewest transfers, one active group plus quick bills, and restoring from a backup. The app never sends anything by itself and doesn't read your address book: it only sees the contact you pick. No account, no ads, no data collected: everything stays on your phone.
