Draw, build and morph wavetables, hear them as you work, and export them for your synth, module or plugin. Runs on its own or as an AUv3 in AUM, Loopy Pro and Logic.
WaveStack is a wavetable builder and instrument. Draw, import and morph single-cycle waves into 1D and 2D wavetables, listen as you edit, and export them in the format your synth or module expects.
DRAW AND SHAPE
Pencil, line, curve and harmonic tools. The curve tool bends a wave, squeezes it into an envelope, or limits it between two curves.
BUILD WHOLE TABLES
Start from one frame and sweep brightness, filter, fold, sync, formant, PWM and more across a table or a grid. Keyframes fill in the frames between them, with your choice of timing and morph style.
IMPORT WHAT YOU HAVE
Open Serum and Surge tables directly. Slice plain WAVs into frames, or pull single cycles out of a pitched recording. You can import photos as well. Files come from the Files app, iCloud Drive or any connected drive.
LISTEN AS YOU GO
A built-in synth plays the table while you edit, with two envelopes, a filter, three LFOs and a modulation matrix. Use the on-screen keyboard or a MIDI controller.
YOUR FILES STAY YOURS
Your tables live in WaveStack's folder in the Files app ("On My iPad"). There are no accounts.
WAVESTACK PRO
A one-time purchase that adds:
• The WaveStack AUv3 instrument, for GarageBand, Logic Pro, AUM, Cubasis and other hosts, with the whole editor in the plugin window
• 3D volumes: tables with layers, scanned on X, Y and Z
• Morphing between tables or images
Making, playing and exporting tables is free.
The AUv3 plugin now has the library, Save, Export and the on-screen keyboard. The first time, choose your WaveStack folder in its Library panel.
Changing the octave while a note is playing no longer leaves the old note sounding.
