MyNikkahMate: Nikkah Register

Signatures, ID photos, nama

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Every nikkah as a numbered register entry: the couple, witnesses and mahr, ID photos, signatures on the device, the nama printed or emailed. Free for 30 days, no card. MyNikkahMate keeps your nikkah register in one place: every nikkah as a numbered entry with the couple, their fathers, the attorney for the bride and the witnesses, their ID photos, the mahr and the fee, the checks you ran, everyone's signature taken on the device, and the nikkah nama printed with your own header or emailed to the couple. For mosques, Islamic centres and independent imams. Open the app and Home shows your register at a glance: how many nikkahs this year and in total, the drafts still to finish, the latest entries, and what needs doing next. THE REGISTER • One numbered entry per nikkah: the date, the venue, the nikkah official, the groom and the bride with their fathers, dates of birth and marital status, the attorney for the bride and the witnesses • A photo of everyone's ID, front and back, kept on the entry • Register gives the entry the next number in your book, and from then on it cannot be changed: a mistake is voided and re-entered, as in a paper register • Continue the numbering from your existing book, with your own prefix • Search by name or number; filter drafts, registered and void entries SIGNATURES ON THE DEVICE • The groom, the bride, the attorney, the witnesses and the nikkah official each sign on your phone or tablet • Every signature prints in its own box on the nikkah nama with the date and time • Nothing can be registered until everyone has signed THE NIKKAH NAMA • Printed or shared as a PDF with your institution's name, address, charity number, logo and header lines, including a second header line in Urdu, Arabic or Bengali • Copies emailed to the groom, the bride and anyone else you name, with the PDF attached MAHR, FEE AND CHECKS • The mahr with its terms: paid at the ceremony, prompt, deferred or part paid, with your notes • The nikkah fee and when it was paid • A "Before the nikkah" checklist on every entry: ID seen, both parties 18 or over, consent, witnesses, mahr agreed; add your own items • The app refuses to register a nikkah where the groom or the bride is under 18 DOCUMENTS AND NIKKAH OFFICIALS • Decree absolute, death certificate, consent letter, civil marriage certificate or conversion certificate on an entry; your nikkah officials' authorisations; your charity registration, insurance and premises licence, with expiry reminders • Your nikkah officials and their registration numbers, printed under their signature line ALSO • Works offline: everything is saved on your phone and syncs when you are back online • Backed up to your account, so a new phone or a second phone has everything • Up to 2,000 nikkahs per register, 5 GB for photos and files • The register is never deleted while your account exists, even if you stop subscribing • Export your whole register whenever you like • No adverts and no tracking PRICE MyNikkahMate is free to download and comes with a 30 day free trial, no card needed. After that it's £9.99 a year, less than 20p a week, bought in the app through the App Store. One subscription covers your whole register, up to 2,000 nikkahs. The subscription renews every year until cancelled, and you can cancel any time in your App Store settings. If you don't subscribe, your account becomes read-only: your register is kept safe for as long as your account exists, and you can still see, print and export everything. MyNikkahMate helps you keep records. It is not a civil marriage registration and does not replace one; the religious ceremony, the checks and the paperwork remain your institution's responsibility. Ratings & Reviews

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

• ID seen: tick ID seen and choose Passport, Driving licence or Other; ID numbers and expiry dates are no longer recorded. • ID photos online only: a photo of each person's ID is needed before Register, kept on our servers only and deleted 2 years after the nikkah. • Safer account deletion: deleting your account now asks for your password and a code sent to your email.
