Supported separation and transcription run on device with Core ML. Processing speed and available models depend on device performance.
Automatic separation and transcription depend on recording quality, mix density and performance style. Scores are editable drafts intended for review.
UNDERSTAND YOUR RESULTS
The six-part mode produces vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and an Other stem that groups the remaining sound. Scan suggestions help you choose parts; you can adjust the selection manually. For note recognition, start with a solo recording or a separated part. Drum recognition currently covers kick, snare and closed hi-hat. Review tempo and time signature before using or printing a score.
AUDIO FILE OPTIONS
Keep the original separated stem files, or export MP3, WAV, M4A, ALAC or AIFF. Export selected stems as individual files or combine them into one audio mix. Score exports include a part's MIDI, printable PDF and MusicXML.
DEVICE AND PURCHASE INFORMATION
On-device transcription requires an A14/M1-class or newer chip and at least 6 GB of memory. Availability and processing limits are shown in the app; processing speed and usable file length depend on your device. The paid app includes supported local features without a StemTab account or subscription. Import recordings and media you are entitled to process; protected or streaming-only items without an exportable file cannot be imported.
