Slow Telly

Calm TV with no algorithms

$2.99

A calm, old-school telly for little ones. Your shows, a sleep timer, and nothing pulling them onto the next thing. No endless feeds. No scrolling. No algorithms. You have control over what your children watch. Slow Telly turns your iPad or iPhone into a calm, glowing old-school TV. You choose the channels, and they just play, one show after another, like the telly used to. YOUR OWN CHANNELS • Add videos from your Photos or Files to any channel • Or paste a web link to a video or playlist • Comes with a channel of classic 1930s public-domain cartoons, ready to watch • Add, name and remove channels any time A PROPER OLD TELLY • Static and a 5-4-3-2-1 countdown between shows • A warm, grainy picture, with an optional glow around the screen • Warmth, colour and contrast controls, plus picture presets • Full-screen widescreen picture, fixed sideways or turning with your device MADE FOR PARENTS • Sleep timer: 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, or till the end of the show • Optional timer prompt, so nothing plays until a grown-up sets a timer • Channel changing takes a deliberate two-finger hold, so little hands can't flip channels every few seconds • Setup is hidden behind a hold gesture, with a short guide for grown-ups on first launch • No ads, no accounts, no tracking PICKS UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF Switch it off mid-show and it carries on from the same spot next time. Skip past a channel by accident and it remembers where that episode was. Your picture settings are remembered too. Slow Telly is a calm, simple way to put on something you trust and let it play.
