Learn something new every day in just two minutes. KnowSoda is a micro learning app for curious minds: build your general knowledge one card at a time by swiping through true or false claims on science, history, psychology, art, technology and much more. Soda, a pixel-art cat, is your coach. Think of it as a smart quiz and a fact of the day in one. And everything works offline, wherever you are.
HOW IT WORKS
• True or false. Each card is one short claim: decide whether it's true and find out why in a sentence or two.
• It adapts to you. With every answer, KnowSoda measures how well you know each idea and serves the next card right at the edge of your knowledge. What you almost know comes back; what you've already got stops showing up.
• What you learn sticks. With spaced repetition, each idea comes back just as you start to forget it.
• Plenty of variety. Learning cards, "Did you know?" fun facts and random facts, questions where you pick between two options or guess which number is higher, and a short illustrated story in every subject. All with hundreds of pixel-art animations.
161 SUBJECTS, 9,800+ CARDS
The subjects are grouped into 30 areas, and each one has four levels: Foundations, Core, Advanced and Expert.
• Science: physics, chemistry, biology, animals, the human body, astronomy, the solar system and planet Earth.
• History: world history and history trivia, from the ancient world, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the world wars and the history of medicine.
• Society: economics, philosophy, politics and law, world religions, countries, capitals and flags.
• Arts and culture: famous paintings and art history, music, classic novels, word origins and etymology, film and TV, architecture and design.
• Everyday life: psychology and cognitive biases, personal finance, sports, food, video games, myths, legends and Greek mythology.
• Technology: how computers work, AI, the internet, cybersecurity, inventions, energy and spaceflight.
YOUR KNOWLEDGE MAP
Your map fills in as you learn. Start with every subject or keep just your favorites, take a level test to skip what you already know, and earn a medal for every subject you master. You also get your own player card, which rates your accuracy, speed, memory and judgement, and goes up as you improve. And Your numbers shows your answers, right answers and week, ready to share on a card with Soda.
