Lock social media until you pray.
You meant to pray on time, then the phone pulled you into one more video. Salah Gate is a prayer app blocker: at every adhan, the apps you choose are locked until you pray. Tap "I prayed" and they are back.
PRAYER LOCK: HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick the apps that distract you: social media, short videos, games, the browser
2. At each prayer time they are covered by a calm lock screen
3. Pray, then tap "I prayed". Everything unlocks in one tap
• "5 more minutes" when you truly need it
• Choose which prayers lock: all five, or only the ones you tend to delay
• Pause mode for travel, illness or menstruation
• No quiz, no friction, no shame. Just a gentle gate between you and the feed
WHO IT IS FOR
Anyone who keeps delaying salah because of the phone. Students who want a digital detox around prayer. Anyone building better screen time habits for Ramadan and beyond.
Prayer Lock is part of Salah Gate Premium (7-day free trial on the yearly plan). Prayer times, alerts and Qibla are free.
ACCURATE PRAYER TIMES
• Calculated on your phone, no internet needed
• Egypt: the official Egyptian Survey Authority timetable
• Estonia: the high-latitude method of the Estonian Islamic Centre
• Any other city: adjustable Fajr and Isha angles, Shafi or Hanafi Asr, offsets
• Monthly timetable with Hijri dates
AZAN ALERTS
• Alerts at the exact minute of each azan, as shown on screen
• Jumu'ah reminder and Ramadan suhoor and iftar alerts
• Correct across time zones and daylight saving
QIBLA
A clean compass that points to the Kaaba, with bearing and distance.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, no tracking. Your location and settings stay on your phone. Prayer Lock is built on Apple's Screen Time: Salah Gate never sees which apps you choose.
