HabitBarn: Focus & Habits
Grow a garden while you focus
Free · In‑App Purchases
Plant a focus session and watch it grow. Lock your phone and it keeps growing; leave the app and it wilts. Tick a habit and it blooms. Free to start, no ads.
HabitBarn is a calm focus timer and habit tracker for iPhone and iPad. Start a focus session and a plant grows while you work. Tick a habit and it blooms into a flower. Both land in the same little garden, one plot per day. Miss a day? Nothing breaks: your garden waits for you.
FOCUS GROWS A PLANT
Pick a plant and a length, from 5 minutes to 3 hours, and tap Plant. It grows while you stay with your work, and when the timer ends it joins today's garden. The hours you put in unlock new plants: 16 in all, from tomatoes to an orange tree.
LOCK, DON'T LEAVE
HabitBarn can tell locking your screen from leaving for another app, so the only rule is the one that matters. Lock your phone and the plant keeps growing. Switch to another app and you get 10 seconds to come back before it wilts. Wilted plants stay in your garden too; nobody is scolded. On iPhone, a Live Activity shows the countdown on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
HABITS BLOOM INTO FLOWERS
Read, move, drink water, journal. Each habit has its own flower, and every one you tick blooms in the same plot as today's focus plants. Give a habit a focus length (say, deep work for 50 minutes) and finishing that session ticks it for you. Choose which days a habit is due, and get one gentle daily reminder at the time you pick, never once you're done.
MOMENTUM, NOT STREAKS
Instead of a streak that resets to zero, every habit has momentum: it rises with each day you keep it and dips gently when you don't. A busy week costs a little, not everything. Forgot to tick yesterday? Tick it, up to a year back.
YOUR GARDEN, DAY BY DAY
Scroll back through your garden day by day, or open the calendar to see the month at a glance.

Focus time per day, plants grown, your success rate, and how each habit is going.
YOURS, ON IPHONE AND IPAD
Start right away, no account needed: your garden is saved on your device. Sign in with Apple or Google whenever you like to back it up and use the same garden on your iPhone and iPad. Export everything as a CSV file or delete your account at any time in Settings. No ads, ever, and we don't sell your data.
FREE, WITH OPTIONAL PLUS
The free garden has the full focus timer, 3 habits, nine plants that unlock with focus hours, the last 7 days of stats and sync through your account. HabitBarn Plus adds unlimited habits, seven Plus-only plants and your full history in stats (every month and year).
Plus is available as:

- Monthly: $4.99 per month
- Lifetime: $59.99, a one-time purchase, no subscription
Prices are in US dollars; the App Store shows the price in your local currency. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase (for the yearly plan with a free trial, when the trial ends). Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
- Fixed a light band at the top of the screen on iPadOS and iOS 26 and later when HabitBarn's theme differs from the system's.
- The status bar now matches the theme you pick in Settings > Look.
- The total on the Focus screen now reads "5m focused", so it's clear it's your lifetime focus time.
