MULTIPART SETS THAT JUST WORK
Movie.part1.rar … part12.rar, old-style .r00 volumes, .001 splits: Unfold sees the whole set as one archive, whichever part you open. Missing a part? It tells you which one before it starts.
RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE
• Right-click in Finder: Unfold Here, Unfold to Folder, Unfold to…
• Double-click any archive, or drop it on the window
• Quick Action in Finder and the preview pane
• Shortcuts: “Unfold Archives” returns the extracted folders
Launched from Finder, Unfold shows only a small progress panel and quits when it’s done.
SMART DESTINATION
One file inside? It lands next to the archive. Several? They go into a folder named after the archive. Never a mess of loose files, never a folder with one folder inside.
PASSWORDS, HANDLED
Encrypted archive? Type the password once, or keep a list of passwords you use often: Unfold tries them for you, quickly and in order, and moves the one that worked to the top. The list is stored in your Keychain.
