Zoony is a maps and navigation app made for Iraq. It knows our streets, speaks our language and is built with the drivers who use it every day.
LIVE TRAFFIC FROM DRIVERS
• Road colours come from the speeds of drivers using Zoony, and get richer as more people drive with it
• Arrival times take traffic into account
• Choose the fastest or shortest route, or avoid tolls, highways or unpaved roads
• Add stops along the way
VOICE GUIDANCE THAT GETS YOU
• Turn-by-turn directions in Arabic, Kurdish (Sorani) and English
• Speed limits next to your speed where they are known, with a calm warning if you go over
• Your next turn on the lock screen
• Guidance keeps going with the screen off
ALERTS BEFORE YOU GET THERE
• Police, speed cameras, accidents, flooding, closed roads and more, reported by drivers in one tap
• Spoken warnings with enough distance to react
• Checkpoint wait times, worked out from drivers who passed before you
FUEL, PLACES AND SEARCH
• Nearby fuel stations with the latest updates from drivers: fuel available or long queue
• Search the way you talk, by typing or by voice: "pharmacy near Tahrir Square"
• Home, Work and saved places, with "leave by" reminders for your commute
• Mosques and qibla direction, and emergency numbers in one tap
• Save your city's map to your phone for weak connections
A COMMUNITY OF DRIVERS
• Reports that other drivers confirm earn you points and raise your level
• A weekly leaderboard of road heroes
• Business owners can claim their place and keep its phone number, hours and photos up to date
• Report or block any user or content that breaks the rules; our team reviews every report
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No ads and no tracking tools
• The first and last 300 metres of every trip are never sent, so no one can tell where you live or work
• Everything works without an account; sign in with your phone number only to keep your places
• Delete your account or your data at any time, in the app or on our website
MADE FOR IRAQ
Maps, search and directions cover all of Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region. Outside Iraq, you can explore the map and try a demo drive in Baghdad.
