A dandelion seed drifts on the wind. You cannot steer it. You can only remember. Before each round you are shown a handful of objects in a certain order. Then they scatter into the air, carried by a wind that changes its mind every few seconds. Your job is to catch them in that same order. It sounds simple. It is simple. It is also, about four objects in, surprisingly hard. HOW IT PLAYS • Watch the sequence, then let it go • Two thumb sticks: one shoots, one throws the catching hook • Catch the right thing in the right order • A wrong object or a collision costs you an attempt. The second mistake ends the run • Every round adds one more thing to remember WHAT IS IN IT • Hand-drawn objects, animated one frame at a time • Crates to shoot open, ladybirds to avoid, and a flying pig that means you no harm • Hooks and shots to unlock with the gold you collect • A best-time list, so you can lose to yourself repeatedly • Several game modes once you have found your feet WHAT IS NOT IN IT • No advertising • No in-app purchases • No account, no sign-up, no data collection • No internet connection required Driftbloom is made for short, quiet sessions. A few minutes on the bus, a round before sleep. It will not send you notifications. It will not ask for your email address. It will, however, let you blame the wind.
