• Translation styles: LaziBook recognizes the genre of a Chinese novel — classical chapter novel, wuxia, xianxia, palace drama, modern, science fiction, Buddhist text — and translates with that genre's voice and forms of address; English books get Classic and Bible styles. Change it in Translate › Style. • Chinese names are recognized more accurately and remembered for each book. • Listening that adapts to your device: LaziBook measures how fast voices run on your device to prepare just enough ahead, starts speaking sooner and lets translation give way to the voice; listening with the screen locked is more reliable. • One voice model for the whole app: the N / T switch picks Nano or Turbo for the narrator, dialogue and every book. Custom voices always come in both editions. New voice: Thanh Hiền. • Cover templates: new Scroll and Moon Gate layouts (6 in all), 6 palettes for every style, fret and Đông Sơn bronze-drum patterns. • Look up a whole passage on Lazidi: select a passage for its word list, tap a word for its meaning. On Mac, "Look up on Lazidi" now tops the right-click menu. • Selecting Chinese text is as easy as selecting Vietnamese. • Clean Up & Convert: three-line couplet chapter titles, long notes keep their small type, multi-line titles show in full in the contents. • Fixes a crash when the library was indexing during listening; on Mac, deleting a book only moves its file to the Trash.

LaziBook 1.3 — smoother listening, cleaner custom voices • Update the full sound list • Switch to Nano when voice lags (on by default): when a Turbo voice can’t keep up, the device is hot, Low Power Mode is on or you listen with the screen locked, LaziBook temporarily reads with the matching Nano voice so playback doesn’t stall. • The Featured section of the voice list now shows Nano voices: light, fast and suited to most devices. • Turbo voices generate faster, and more sentences are prepared ahead for seamless listening. • Create a voice: pick the exact 5–8 second passage from a long audio file and preview it first. Samples are noise-reduced, and custom Nano voices sound much cleaner, with far less buzz. • iCloud sync for your custom voices, voice choices, background music, volume and per-book pronunciation across iPhone, iPad and Mac. • Notifications when your device is hot or voice generation can’t keep up, with tips to fix it. • An alert when a new version is available on the App Store.

LaziBook 1.2.2 — find more, discover more • Search long books: scroll to load more results, including matches in later chapters. • Search the whole book, the text before or after your reading position, or switch to library search for book titles and content. • New Recommendations sections on Home and in Free Books combine your reading interests with featured picks. Home suggestions change to help you discover more books. • Enjoy continuous two-page reading across chapters. Fixed blank space caused by forcing each chapter to start on the left. • Open Free Books instantly with the cloud button in Library. • Improved footnote handling and fixes for some Vietnamese character errors when cleaning up and converting books.

LaziBook 1.2.1 — tidier books • Clean Up and Convert now lay out books like edited editions: red chapter titles with an ornament, a large initial letter at the start of each chapter, centred poems. • PDFs keep their italics and bold; years like "1828-1913" no longer run together; words split by stray spaces are joined back. • Spelling: flags places where text may be missing (e.g. "ởở") and leaves borrowed words such as "garô" and "vectơ" alone. • Small fixes and better stability.

LaziBook 1.2 — clean up and convert books, Quick Find CLEAN UP & CONVERT BOOKS • Book Info › Convert & Clean Up › Clean Up / Compress rewrites a book as a tidy EPUB 3: junk markup and ad blocks repeated at chapter starts removed, Vietnamese spelling fixed, heavy images shrunk, a standard cover, chapters split, contents rebuilt and chapter titles nicely set. • Convert TXT, Word, Kindle, FB2 and text PDFs to EPUB 3; export an A5 PDF with cover, contents and page numbers to print or share; repack comics as CBZ or combine them into one PDF. • New copies go to Library › Processed and the original stays as it is; a notification tells you when a job starts, finishes or fails. • Import from Link: downloaded books are tidied up right away. BOOK INFO • Use your own picture as a book cover or design one from templates (4 layouts, 8 styles); books without a cover get one that suits their genre. Edit the description too. Everything you edit (title, author, series, genre, language, cover, description) syncs across your iPhone, iPad and Mac. • Author and translator names are capitalized properly. • Contents built from the book's own headings: one table of contents in the right order, multi-line titles as one entry. FASTER TO USE • Quick Find: pull down at the top of Home, Library or Studio (landscape iPad: the magnifying glass in the sidebar) and type a title or author, diacritics optional. • Swipe sideways between Home, Library and Studio with a smooth, Safari-style slide; swipe right on an inner page to go back; each tab keeps its place. Tap the status bar to scroll to the top. • Speak a selection: the sentence is highlighted and each word lights up. The text selection menu now starts with Look up on Lazidi, Translate and Speak. LISTENING AND READING • More background sound: 18 music themes in groups (classic Asian, modern, mood) and 12 ambient sounds such as a flowing stream, a summer night and rain on the eaves. • More reliable listening with the screen locked: iOS no longer closes the app mid-chapter because speech synthesis used too much CPU. • Spelling fixes: common typos in Vietnamese ebooks are corrected on screen and when read aloud (can be turned off in Clean Up Book › Spelling). • Book language: LaziBook detects English, Chinese and other books, including PDFs with no language tag, and reads them with the right voice; English sentences inside Vietnamese books are read with an English voice. • Bilingual view is laid out sentence by sentence, each translation right below its original; select a translated sentence to look it up, speak it or see the original. • Normalized layout: body text follows your margins, line spacing, font and size in every kind of book (can be turned off in Themes & Settings › Look). • Stopping and listening to another passage no longer replays a snippet of the old one; no more crackle at the start of a sentence; vertical scrolling follows the voice through very long sentences. • Smooth page turns in books with many images; heavy PDFs open faster, no more flicker with scanned PDFs; smooth page turns with pinyin and Sino-Vietnamese readings. • Fixed an issue on some iOS 26 devices where swiping on the first page of a chapter jumped to the next chapter. The library no longer freezes while scanning books or opening large books. • The "Now Listening" Live Activity is removed because it duplicated the system player — playback controls remain on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.

ON-DEVICE TRANSLATION • Translate English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean books into Vietnamese, offline after a one-time download: read side by side, paragraph by paragraph, or listen to the translation. • Name and term lists for Chinese novels; Original shows the source sentence, pinyin and Sino-Vietnamese readings for any translated sentence. LIBRARY • Add books from Google Drive, Dropbox, Import from Link (Wikisource, Project Gutenberg, story sites…), OPDS servers (Calibre, Komga, Kavita…) and "Send to LaziBook" in the share sheet. • Books live in iCloud Drive › LaziBook, shared by your iPhone, iPad and Mac; reading positions, highlights, notes and collections sync through iCloud. • Book status (Reading, Want to Read, Finished, Did Not Finish) with smart shelves; reading and listening statistics with a daily goal; a Notebook with all your highlights and notes. • Full-text search across your whole library, with or without Vietnamese diacritics. • Back up and restore to a file; find books with Spotlight; Handoff between devices.
