Take the helm and sail or motor across the Mediterranean, from the Costa Dorada to the Balearic Islands. SailorSim is a boating simulator with a 3D view and a nautical chart. Hoist the sails, trim your course to the wind, manoeuvre under engine inside the harbour and moor alongside the pontoon. Or set off on a long passage from Salou to Mallorca or from Palma to Menorca, with day and night passing over the sea. MISSIONS - Leaving port: cast off and reach open water without touching anything. - Sailing: learn to beat, reach and run with shifting winds. - Salou regatta: find the start line, win the position and round the marks ahead of your rivals. - Guided sailing: follow the route waypoint by waypoint. - Docking: enter the harbour and moor with precision. - Salou coves: cruise the coast among beaches, shoals and buoys. - Entering Maó harbour: head up one of the longest natural harbours in the Mediterranean to the visitor pontoon. - Passages: Salou–Palma, Salou–Mahón and Palma–Mahón. THE SEA AND THE BOAT - Wind with changing direction and strength, plus an apparent wind indicator. - Sails and engine, with fuel consumption: if you run dry, use the reserve can, carry on under sail or call for help. Refuel when you reach port. - Buoyage: lateral marks, isolated danger marks, beach buoys and lighthouses flashing at night. - Marine traffic: container ships, ferries, yachts and other craft moving around the area. - Coastline with relief and shallow water: watch out for rocks and shoals, you can run aground. RADIO AND RESCUE - VHF radio with voice messages. - SOS button: send a MAYDAY, get the acknowledgement and wait for the rescue boat, which tows you to the nearest port so you can carry on sailing. CONTROLS - 3D view with smooth zoom and free camera: tap a ship or an object to focus on it, double tap to return to your boat. - Nautical chart showing the mission route. - Route pilot: "Follow route", and "Back to route" if you have strayed. - Time acceleration for long passages. - Restart the mission at any time. - Save and resume passages. FOR MAC, IPAD AND IPHONE Layout adapted to every screen, with all controls available on iPhone too. Includes a full in-app manual in Spanish and English.
