It turns clouds, estimated seeing, transparency, twilight, and moonlight into one Imaging Quality Score for the place you observe from. Open the app, check the score, and see the best window before you load the car.

Seeing is estimated on your iPhone from the jet stream, wind shear, and ground wind. It is a planning guide, not a measured seeing forecast. Forecast data comes from Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0), including ECMWF, GFS, regional models, and Copernicus CAMS aerosols. Sun, moon, and target altitudes are calculated on the device.
AstroSky is free. There is no account, no ads, and no subscription. Location is used only when you add the place you are standing, and only to forecast that site.
