Find something beautiful, frame it in the square and share it. Then see what your friends, and people everywhere, found today. Viewfinder asks one thing of you each day: find something beautiful and photograph it. Look through a square viewfinder, live, and take the picture. Write a line with it if you like, and share it. Only what's inside the square is ever shared. Your first share of the day opens Today: the photos your friends found. Before you have friends there, Today shows photos people everywhere shared, without their names. Light a flame on the ones you love. Every photo you take is kept in your own archive on your phone. QUIET BY DESIGN No endless feed, no follower counts, no ads. One photo, one day at a time. PRIVATE BY DESIGN A shared photo shows the district and city it was taken in, never your exact location, and you can remove the place before you share. Photos people everywhere see carry no name and no camera information. Viewfinder is part of Driftwood, a small studio making calmer apps.
