Opening, fridge temps, hygiene, training and closing checks, signed on staff phones. The office reads the week. Built for UK kitchens. our staff still fill in a paper food diary. Daybook puts it on their phones. Staff sign in with a kitchen code and a personal PIN. They see today's checks and sign each one as it happens. Every entry is dated and shows who signed it. WHAT YOU GET • Opening and closing checklists • Fridge, freezer and hot-hold temperatures, with warm and hot readings flagged • Separate lists for the kitchen and front of house, each with its own equipment • Hygiene checks, pest control, food wastage and a deep clean rota • Cake delivery and rotation logs • Staff training records with certificate photos • A week view for managers, with missed checks to review • A designed inspection record as a PDF, for any dates you choose • Your own checklists, equipment and team, set up by the owner SIGNED AND KEPT Signed records are never edited. A mistake is fixed with a dated correction beside the original. WORKS IN THE KITCHEN Checks are saved on the phone first, so they work with a poor signal and are backed up as soon as there is a connection. DAYBOOK ACCOUNTS Daybook is set up for your kitchen by Daybook. To get started, visit daybook.kitchen. Staff sign in with the kitchen code from their manager. Daybook helps you keep records.
