Stuck on your to-do list? Every task you finish earns paint that slowly fills a blank storybook scene. Miss a day? Your painting never fades. Just do one thing today.
Every task you finish earns paint. Spend it to place a street lamp, plant flowers or hang an awning — and watch a storybook painting come to life.
Paintday is a gentle to-do list and daily planner for ADHD brains, and for anyone who has downloaded planner apps again and again and given up on all of them. Instead of guilt, overdue badges and broken streaks, you get a picture that slowly fills with color.
Built for ADHD brains
• One task at a time, front and center — no staring at a long list
• "Start 2 min" — just starting earns paint
• A shrinking visual timer makes time visible
• Break big tasks into small steps you can tick off like a checklist
• No red "overdue" — move it or let it go
• No streaks to break. Your painting never fades
• One gentle reminder, only for tasks with a time
Good for days when
• Your to-do list keeps growing and you keep procrastinating
• You want routines and habits without streak pressure
• Studying, chores or work feel too big to start
• You need a small, visible reward to get going
How it works
1. Add today's tasks — type or use voice input.
2. Finish a task (or just start it for 2 minutes) to earn paint drops.
3. Spend paint to place items in a storybook scene. Each item you place is painted in color, in any order you like.
4. Finish the scene and pick the next one from your bookshelf.
180 storybook paintings across Cozy, Nature, Food, City, Masterpieces and Seasons — including homages to Van Gogh, Monet and Korean folk art. Special items light up the night, keep the rain off, and invite butterflies and birds.
Also: morning and evening routines (weekly, every 2 weeks or monthly), home-screen widget (complete tasks right from it), focus timer, reminders, voice input, dark mode, optional sign-in to keep your planner when you change phones, Korean & English.
Free includes every planner feature (5 new tasks a day, plan 7 days ahead, 42 paintings). Premium: double paint for every task and routine, all 180 paintings, unlimited tasks and dates, repeating tasks (weekly, every 2 weeks or monthly), daily bonus without ads. $3.99/month or $34.99/year (7-day free trial).
